Is it
difficult to learn to Scuba Dive?
No, it
is not difficult to learn to scuba dive. The scuba course is
structured in such a way that it will guide you
through all that you need to know. You will also
receive some special attention when it is needed to
make sure that you are certified as a safe and
competent diver.
How old
do I have to be to scuba dive?
At the
age of 10 you can be certified as a Junior Scuba
Diver which means that you will only be able to dive
with an adult. At the age of 15 you are able to
qualify as a Scuba Diver.
How long does it take to
qualify as an Open Water Diver?
The
normal Scuba Diver Course runs over a period of 2
weeks.
Where
will I do my qualifying dives?
Qualifying dives are done at Miracle Waters as it is
a controlled environment for the Instructor and the
Dive Masters to keep a good eye on the students and
are able to iron out and perfect your skills. This
way your first Ocean dives will be allot more
enjoyable for you.
What
equipment will I need to buy for the course?
You
don't need to purchase any equipment while you are
on course, as the course price includes the use of
all equipment. Once you have completed the
course then we do offer gear specials at great
prices.
How
deep will I be able to dive?
You
will be able to dive to 18m with and Open
Water Certification and to 40m with an Advanced
Certification.
